This is one for the diehards only. See what I did there?

Formerly known as Superhorrorfuck, the band never hit their own expected heights, so after eight years and two albums, they decided on a name change and shed three members; Paghalloween, Littlebomb and Sgt.Anubis departed and two new guys came on board, Didi Bukz on guitar and Franky Voltage on drums, joining Edward J. Freak on vocals and Mr.4 on bass. With me so far? They're also Italian.

Under the original name they released their third album 'Death Becomes Us' in 2013 before, in their own words, adopting a new name, new sound and another resurrection. Coming across like 'The Rocky Horror Show' on amphetamine, they're an amalgam of a more flamboyant Marilyn Manson, a snarly version of Hanoi Rocks and Lordi's brattish children, with a touch of Green Day's mellower moments thrown in for some respite.

'Ready, Steady... Die!' is countrified Punk Rock at its snottiest and with titles like 'Mr. Rigor Mortis', 'No Love For The Deceased', 'Dead To Be Alive', and 'Rock Is Dead (Like Us)' it's not hard to see why they describe themselves as Undead Rock. Then they also have titles like 'Nazi Nuns From Outer Space' – quite!

Check out their videos for 'Nice To Meat You', and 'Nekro-Nekro Gym' for a revealing insight into what they represent. They certainly don't take themselves seriously and I'm sure there are hundreds of kids out there who don the make-up and really get into the party atmosphere, but I really don't know what niche they fit into. I'm sure they're very enjoyable for all of fifteen minutes, but I can imagine without the visuals they could get quite boring really quickly as musically they offer nothing fresh or exciting nor anything that hasn't been done a million times before... most often done better.

All of their songs are short and snappy which at least avoids the necessity to hit the fast-forward button. 'Little Scream Queen' has its moments and the witty titles are never more evident than on the Rap-like 'Selfish Son Of A Witch' (read it again). 'Mourir, C'est Chic' ('To Die Is Chic') channels Funk but has that occasional Beastie Boys groove, whilst the aforementioned 'Dead To...' dabbles in acoustic guitar with Freak channelling his inner Billie Joe Armstrong.

This is one for the diehards only. See what I did there?
