Robin George releases charity single

RobinGeorgeCharity

LovePower and Peace, the debut single from the new album by Robin George’s LovePower is released on April 11th in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Featuring Ruby Turner, Jaki Graham and The LovePower Band. The entire proceeds from the single, dedicated to Macmillan Cancer Support , will go directly to this charity to aid their fantastic work and to celebrate their centenary.

The LovePower and Peace single is taken from their new album of the same name and it’s a showcase of all that is good and great in the music industry. Talented and creative artists have produced something real and original – and from the heart. It features 60 world class musicians; Ruby Turner, Arthur Brown, Jaki Graham, Daniel Boone, John Wetton and artists from bands such as The Elton John Band, The Rolling Stones, The Climax Blues Band, King Crimson, UFO, Hanoi Rocks, Uriah Heep, Asia and Motor Head. They are all united by the desire to put something back…

Robin George, who has spent over two years working on this immense project, commented, ‘This has been a real Labour of LovePower.  All the time and talent poured into this mission has been heart-warming, to say the least. We are all honoured to be working with such fabulous musicians for such deserving causes.’

The single can be downloaded from 11th April, 2011 from www.robingeorge.co.uk

And every penny of your 69p purchase will go directly to the Macmillan account.

Quote of the day

"We’re better than Metallica. We’re better musicians, better players. Put it this way, they can try to walk onstage after an Iron Maiden show if they want.” (Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden) - Quotes collected by Dave Ling (www.daveling.co.uk)
