Dare - live at The Gods 2001: Watch the FULL show on Rocktopia TV

Dare-Rocktopia-TV-News-Thumb
Before Firefest, there was The Gods, the inaugural AOR/Melodic Rock festival run by Now & Then Records and featuring many of the most well-loved AOR names ever to grace the stage. The debut Gods shows were in 1993 … that’s exactly TWENTY years ago today, an special anniversary all of its own. As well as bringing you the best shows from Firefest over the past 10 festivals, we will also be cherry-picking some of those momentous Gods performances. Of course, most of these weren’t shot in digital format, but the quality is still good enough to deliver a loving memory of festivals long past. Our first Gods show isn’t quite from as far back as that though, as we look to the year 2000 and the last Gods festival to be held at Maximes in Wigan. Alongside the Likes of Two Fires and Ten, legendary UK AOR band Dare gave us a wonderfully evocative and emotive performance which is finally shown here for the first time.

2013 also sees the 25th anniversary of Dare’s wonderful debut, ‘Out of the Silence’, so join Darren and the lads for another exciting Rocktopia exclusive…
