Another week, another spectacular Rocktopia TV double feature!
Rocktopia - where the best live action lives!
DARE:
Dare have played several Firefest, including our inaugural event back in 2005. However, having reunited with Vinny Burns a few years back, Dare have added a bit more crunch to their sound, although there were always those bemoaning the lack of songs from the much loved second album ‘Blood From Stone’. Well, my friends, this concert is especially for YOU as the band tear up a storm with the opening one-two knockout combination of ‘Wings of Fire’ and ‘We Don’t Need a Reason’. Mix in a healthy dose of tracks from their debut and this is Dare as we haven’t seen them for years: loud, melodic, heavy and having a blast on stage!! Don’t miss this one!
HAREM SCAREM:
Harem Scarem disbanded not long after playing a sold-out Firefest IV in 2007 but reformed last year after re-recording their classic ‘Mood Swings’ album. After years of trying, we finally got the band to agree to doing this fan-favourite live at FF 2013 and the performance was certainly one to be remembered, with original drummer Darren Smith back in the line-up, adding his distinctive harmonies to a perfect sound. Another show NOT to be missed!
