This Ohio group peddle greasy, grimy, gutter Rock with a hint of swagger.
Calling a band "Album" is like naming a bakery "Yeast"; particularly when the opus is evocatively named 'Majestic Silver Eye'. However, despite the grandeur, this Ohio group peddle greasy, grimy, gutter Rock with a hint of swagger. Basically played, with rather rudimentary construction, this is such fun it should be available on the NHS!
Synths whizz and cowbells ring on 'Clash At Demon Head', and a scratchy Funk riff becomes smoky with a monster wig-out during 'Heavy Mellow'; 'Avalanche' races through one minute and forty seconds before the whole thing comes down. Whilst the NWOBHM-loving 'Song X' and Proggy 'Tail Of The Demon Master' with Uriah Heep-humping won't tax you, it will certainly tempt you.
Not brilliant by any means, but worthy of the elaborate words alright.
