A Symphonic performance and one of legendary proportion.

Wind Rose have just released their third album. A couple of years in the making, these five fantastical musicians, who live in a magical world of historical, mythical times, have greatly polished their talents on this effort!

'Stonehymn' is a many layered and fanciful musical book of stories. They dwell in the famous Middle-Earth epics and the free flowing spirited life-style of the original North American peoples!

Wind Rose's use of original instrumentation and hymn-like chorals that are combined with modern instruments create a quality Symphonic Rock atmosphere. An absolute adventuresome journey though musical plateaus that will leave one breathless! With such creations as 'The Wolves' Call', 'Dance Of Fire' and 'Fallen Timbers' you will be propelled through epic and dramatic tales of lore.

Fireworks - The Ultimate Magazine For Melodic Rock Music

Each story is filled with rivers of sonic intensity, fast moving currents and tranquil pools that are all performed with command! The combination of choral-led vocals and intricate instrumentation just powers through the speakers, with wave upon wave of brilliant sounds! 'The Animist' would indeed sit very comfortably as a major soundtrack to an action-filled mystical movie.

This album will unleash the listener's imagination, filling the mind's eye with rich, varied and colourful textures. Musical streams flowing forcefully from one high mountain to another. Listening to the lyrics being sung with such richness just builds upon the epic soundscapes being played out. Nine power-building rivers, 'Stonehymn' makes strengthening statements as we progress through this release. The sense of musical atmosphere is ever present on each of the nine tracks. The six members of Wind Rose have created a quality album, one that will give light to some of the most commanding stories out there, stories that are steeped in history and legend.

'Stonehymn'; a Symphonic performance and one of legendary proportion!
