Gig History 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Hi Guys

I'm trying to piece together my gig history but am having trouble remembering support bands for the following:-
Band Venue Year
Dave Lee Roth Edinburgh Playhouse 1994
Rainbow London Hammersmith 1995

All Glasgow below
Saw Doctors Barrowland 1997 (May)
GUN Barrowland 1997
Saw Doctors Barrowland 1997 (Dec)
Terrorvision Garage 2001
Cheap Trick Garage 2002
Counting Crows Barrowland 2002
Heart S.E.C.C. 2004 No support?
Europe O2 Academy 2007
Foreigner ABC 2007
Asia O2 Academy 2008

Can anyone help please?

Stu

Hi Stu, I can't help with many of these but I was at the Cheap Trick and Europe gigs and saw Asia on the same tour and I keep a full list of all the bands I see (as my profile says, "hello, I'm Steven and I'm a listaholic..."), so...

Cheap Trick - the support was called Span, a Norwegian band that released just two albums - they were pretty good.

Europe - unusually there was no support act - not sure why.

Asia - I wasn’t at the Academy show, but did see them at the Perth Concert Hall on the same tour and as they did on the 2006 tour (where I did see them at the Academy) they played two sets with an intermission and neither show had a support act.

Hope that helps!
