Only draws - impossible to beat. Worried about what would happen if somebody manages to win ...

Are there more games on Rocktopia??

No, unfortunately not. But it is pretty easy to add more games to this site. Are you guys interested in such a feature? I am not talking about fancy stuff, so no browser based FarCry or World Of Warcraft ...

Just some fun retro stuff to waste a couple of minutes (or hours).

Best regards,

B.

My favourite computer game is Pinball.....

In my younger years (I can just about remember them!!) I was something of a pinball addict and nearly bought a table to use at home - but was dissuaded from doing so!

Whenever I need to wind down, I now play pinball on the computer and always consider myself a failure if I score less than one million. All my recent top scores are over 10 million and these have tended to be (very) late night successes!

Anyone else like playing pinball??!!

I wanted to get a pinball machine, too, but was told that they are pretty difficult to maintain (especially the older ones) because of their complex mechanical parts. We had an Atari Asteroids arcade machine in our previous office (and a couple of additional arcade boards for it, such as Double Dragon and 1943). It is now stored in the basement waiting to be reactivated.

Do you mean the Pinball game that comes with Windows? Seems as if it was removed in Windows 7 ...

LOVED Pinball Wizard and Pinball Dreams on the Commodore Amiga.

Ahh, those were the days!

Yes, Berny - the pinball game that comes (or came?) pre-loaded with Windows. If it is no longer supplied with Windows 7, that is a retrograde step in my view!

I can understand the point about pinball machines being difficult to maintain, and of course the key point is keeping the bumpers and rubbers in good order. I used to despair about ones I played where some of these were so unresponsive!

I have noticed that the Windows Pinball changes over time, or perhaps it is my keyboard and the way I use the keys. It has added another level of skill top the whole process of playing.

Guess what? I'm off to have another game....
