Heartbreak Remedy - 'Midnight Groove'

Thirteen slices of raucous Rock 'n' Roll ... what a way to end the summer!

All right folks – it's midnight and time to get your groove on! 'Midnight Groove', the debut of new U.K. Rockers Heartbreak Remedy, is set to be unleashed in September!

This four-piece first saw the light of day in 2013 and for a young band, they have laid down some very tasty and also quite heavy Rock 'n' Blues. The group was founded by drummer Stephen Jackson and bassist Matty Penn (who also supplies the lead vocal chops) when they decided to put together a band that would be influenced by that Classic Rock sound from L.A. The group then expanded their sound with a twin guitar attack that is executed by Luke Blair and Callum Glynn – both also sweeten the vocal delivery by backing up Penn.

This band are no strangers to the stage; since their formation in 2013 until now, HR have taken up slots to open for a cacophony of Rocking bands that includes The Quireboys, Bad Touch, Knock Out Kaine and more recently Hardcore Superstar. Having previous released EP's to critical praise, the group are now set to unveil their first full-length studio album. So what do we hear on 'Midnight Groove' you all might ask?

The answer to that question is an infectious, full-blown, hardened Rock sound that does in fact groove to the nth degree, laying bare their influences from the likes of Mötley Crüe and ZZ Top to Deep Purple. There is a distinct sound and feel of these lads jamming well in to the wee small hours... creating these Rockers from their rehearsal room. Yes, they are heavy, however they are not ponderous; each selection is muscular yet full of melody with great guitar licks and a bottom end that is fluid as well as pulsating. Each number sits well in a groove that as this foursome play on, the sonics actually soar! This is a debut that is worthy of every Rocker's ears!

Heartbreak Remedy' are also set to take this scorcher on the road; a brand of Rock that will be delivered across the nation that is hot, heavy and thick. From festivals to smoke-filled rooms with dimly lit stages, we should get ready to have a 'Midnight Groove'. Thirteen slices of raucous Rock 'n' Roll (with two extra bonus tracks available on certain formats)...what a way to end the summer!
